- In 2018, an old manual well built in the 1990s was transformed into an automated system with a château d’eau, making it suitable for agricultural irrigation. The intervention was carried out within the framework of the Acqua come vita project, promoted in collaboration with Acquifera Onlus and funded by the Tuscany Region.
- The women of the community were trained to carry out cultivation activities.

The conversion of the well included: the installation of a solar pump; four photovoltaic panels of 250 Wp each; two elevated tanks of 5,000 liters, for a total of 10,000 liters.
- In 2024, the system was converted into a château d’eau, a more efficient structure for water distribution.
- The project was certified for the generation of carbon credits, thanks to the replacement of fossil fuels with solar energy.
- The women of the community were trained to carry out cultivation activities.

In 2013, an old manual well built in the 1990s was transformed into an automated system powered by solar energy, making it suitable for agricultural irrigation. The well is part of the MorModou project, created in memory of Samb Modou and Diop Mor, two young Senegalese men killed in Florence on December 13, 2011. In addition to this intervention, the project also included the construction of 11 photovoltaic systems in other villages in the region, with the aim of promoting sustainable access to energy and water in rural areas.
